As I type this post, the ice is going out on our lake. This is the earliest ice out since we’ve been in Ignace. Normal ice out is early May so we are about a month ahead of schedule. Walleye season opens on May 15 this year. If you haven’t booked a May fishing trip for a while because of late ice, give us a call and we can get you set up for opener or the week after. We still have some openings for this time frame. Why not beat the rush and get onto some of that awesome spring northern, trout and walleye fishing you used to brag about.
