Larry Schroedle of the Olson crew on Seseganaga Lake captured the largest northern last week with this 49 incher. (easily over 30 lbs)
I've heard that many guys take the opportunity to jump in the lake while on their trips to the wilderness; often wearing nothing more than a birthday suit. After seeing fish like this I would think skinny dipping may not be high on the list of things to do at Seseganaga.
No wonder water levels are high with fish like this cruising the lake. Larry pulled this one out and the lake level actually fell.
Seseganaga Lake produces some awesome northern pike fishing. Don't pass up an opportunity to visit Ses and catch one of these monsters yourself.
And yes, July is a great time to come!
