Metionga Lake 2008-08-05

This morning's email included a note from the Bluchier Crew who left our place yesterday. It is great to get feed back from our guests. This one I have to share!

“The 6 of us just came out of the Metionga Lake at Ignace Outposts’ Cabin #3. We experienced the most fabulous fishing and hospitality a party of 6 fishermen could ever dream of. Our weather was excellent for the full 5 days, if you can believe it we couldn’t count the number of fish caught but it was certainly in the hundreds. Most of the fish caught were in the 15 to 25 inch range for walleye and we did catch a number of Northerns the biggest of which was in the 36 inch category.

The hospitality extended to us by the caretaker was also excellent, he told us where to fish and where to watch for rocks or reefs and stopped in every day to ensure we weren’t lacking for anything.

At the base in Ignace, the hospitality showered on us by Brad and Karen Greaves was second to none. From our first fly-in trip with Brad and Karen 4 years ago to this trip we haven’t looked back, as every year has been absolutely perfect and we are anticipating another fantastic experience with Ignace Outposts next year”
